Rev. Gwen is away until August 13.  She or Lorna may be reached for pastoral emergencies during this time.

A reading group on the Report of the National Inquiry on MMIWG  (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls) facilitated by Ellen Cook and Jane Barter at St. Paul’s (Point Rd at North Dr).  Remaining sessions are Tuesdays Aug 6 and Aug 27 from 7 – 8:30pm.

Sunday, August 18 after the service:  picnic in the park at Agnes green space.  Please sign up if you are able to bring food.

 A message from Bob Webster:  “Give my love to folks at St. Matthew.  I miss you all.
We are into the rainy season here so things are greening with wild abandon!  Christ Church by the Sea is doing well.  We hope to offer Spanish language services this fall, at least on an occasional basis.  I ask your prayers for my old brain struggling to learn Spanish.  Blessings.”

Centering (meditative) Prayer:  Wednesdays at 5 pm in the sanctuary; and a shorter version most Sundays at 9:45 am in the church upstairs.

Healing Prayers are on the first and third Sundays of the month, during Communion.
